The exhibition 21x21 took place from April 11 to July 27, 2025, at Villa Hügel in Essen. It brought together works from the collections of the 21 Ruhr Art Museums and showcased over 100 works of modern and contemporary art in ten thematic rooms. The exhibition offered a unique insight into the diversity of the regional art scene and fostered dialogue between various artistic eras and styles.
