Eleven essential components of the German carnival are shown through interactive stations at the German Fastnachtmuseum. The number 11 is the main concept of the exhibition and is translated into various architectural areas and imitates elements and furniture of the Christian faith and refers to the origin of the German carnival. The permanent exhibition was additionally extended by a media station in form of a confessional and a sculpture on the theme of carnival meals in the museum's stairwell.
